Recently, the World University Rankings for Innovation (abbreviation WURI Ranking) for 2025 were released. In the 2025 WURI Ranking, our university stood out from over a thousand universities from around the world that participated in the ranking, thanks to its innovative practice cases in industry application capabilities and innovative organizational management. For the fifth consecutive year, our university has entered the top 100 comprehensive rankings of the world's innovative universities, ranking 57th. Our university has achieved a new high in the ranking! Following Tsinghua University, Peking University, and Beijing Normal University, our university ranks fourth among Chinese universities!

In addition, our university's educational innovation project cases also achieved impressive results in the three classification rankings. They secured the 14th place in the Industrial Application category, the 42nd place in the Technology Development and Application category, and the 35th place in the Empowerment-Based Management category.

The World University Innovation Ranking (WURI) is hosted by the Institute for National Competitiveness Policy and Strategy (IPSNC) in Seoul, South Korea, and jointly supported by the Hanze University League (HLU), the Korea Industrial Policy Research Institute (IPS), the Taylor Institute at Franklin University Switzerland (TI-FUS), and the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR). In 2025, a total of 1,252 universities from 87 countries participated in the WURI Ranking assessment, with 4,866 project applications submitted, setting a new record high. This continuous growth trend not only reflects the emphasis placed by global higher education institutions on innovation capability and social influence, but also underscores the increasingly important position of the WURI Ranking in the global university ranking system.
